The Key Science Project on Cosmic Magnetism workshop

Workshop: 19 - 20 April 2010 - 'Busy days': 21 - 23 April 2010

Comments
The meeting will focus on reports and progress from the Management Team and Working Groups, as well as about early access observations. The Busy Days will contain an introduction to and work on LOFAR data reduction.

Busy Day participants are strongly recommended to examine the latest version of the LOFAR Imaging Cookbook.

A set of parameter files needed for the data processing is available here. *** Update 20 April: parset file for the flagger is still outdated IDPPP. Parset files for the new NDPPP made by David Rafferty can be found on wiki, or on forum.***

5B More up to date information about (testing of) the Imaging Pipeline can be found on the LOFAR forum (login required).

The LOFAR Wiki page gives information on e.g. how to get access to the cluster and background documentation.

In particular, check out the presentations given at the LOFAR Data Processing School early last year are excellent introductions to the topics.

John Swinbank's talk in this meeting (20 April) can be found here.
