Consortium installations differ from end-user installations in having a local
copy of the master CVS source code repositories.
The local code tree is updated regularly by the AIPS++ code
distribution system via a procedure called inhale (p
). Consortium
installations also have a mechanism for checking sources out of, and in to,
the master CVS repositories.
