Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy
The Astronomy Group is engaged in many frontline research areas ranging from the closest to the most distant Universe. The group is involved in the commissioning of LOFAR and in all LOFAR key science projects, as well as in the development of other new instruments like the pulsar machine PuMaII and the WSRT focal-plane-array system (APERTIF).
Data archive - A large part of this research is carried out by analysing data taken with the Wetserbork Synthesis Radio Telescope (WSRT). WSRT data can be retrieved at the WoW (Westerbork on the Web) page.
