How to reach the conference venue Hof van Saksen
If you travel to Hof van Saksen by train, you will have to travel to Assen railway station. To view the English version of the Dutch railway itinerary, see http://www.ns.nl/cs/Satellite/travellers. There are direct trains from Amsterdam airport (‘station Schiphol') to Assen
19 minutes after every hour, for example departure Schiphol 10:19 - arrival Assen 12:32 hrs. The same train continues to Groningen railway station.
From Assen train station, you can reach Hof van Saksen in one of the following ways:
Conference shuttle bus
On 9 June, a shuttle bus is arranged to bring participants from Assen railway station to Hof van Saksen. You can find the bus timetable below.
Taxi
Usually there are taxi's waiting at Assen railway station until ± 21.00 hrs.
The price for a taxi ride to resort Hof van Saksen (address: Veldweg 22-24 at Nooitgedacht) is approximately 25 Euros.

Bus
A bus departs from from Assen railway station to/from resort Hof van Saksen once or twice per hour. The bus ride takes approx. 25 minutes.

From: choose Train station and enter ‘Assen'.
To: enter ‘Veldweg 22' at address and ‘Nooitgedacht' at city.
How to reach the hotels in Groningen
From Groningen railway station, you can take a taxi to your hotel. Mercure hotel is 2,2 kilometres from the railway station, NH hotel de Ville is 1,2 kilometres from the railway station.
How to reach TT-hal
The TT-hall is at the southside of the city of Assen. For all participants that stay at accommodations selected by the organisation transport will be provided to and from the TT-hall.
Shuttle buses will be available at Assen railway station (see time table below). Also there are taxi's waiting at Assen railway station.
The price for a taxi ride to TT-hall (address: De Haar 11 at Assen) is approximately 15 Euros.

Transport during the conference
For all conference participants coach transportation will be arranged between Groningen, the conference venue Hof van Saksen and the conference venue TT hall in occasion of the various conference events.
NOTE: delegates who have arranged their own accommodation (i.e. elsewhere and not via the Groningen Congres Bureau) are NOT taken into account in this transportation schedule. These delegates are kindly requested to arrange their own transportation to the various meeting venues. Please contact the Groningen Congres Bureau if you need help with arranging transport.
A schedule of journeys can be found below. The journey from the various Groningen hotels to Hof van Saksen and the TT hall takes approx. 30 minutes. The journey from Hof van Saksen to the TT hall takes approx. 15 minutes.
During ISKAF2010, a shuttle bus will be available at Hof van Saksen for transportation to and from Assen or Groningen or other nearby distances if needed. You can make a reservation for this shuttle bus through the conference desk.
