On 15 May, ASTRON and Universe Awareness organised an internet exchange with kids from a school in Dwingeloo, South Africa and Australia. The kids from Dwingeloo visited the Westerbork telescope and during a live internet chat compared homemade telescopes with those from the kids in South Africa and Australia.
