MeqTrees

MeqTrees is a software system for the calibration and simulation of radio telescopes, especially aperture synthesis arrays. The user normally interacts with the system through a GUI, the MeqBrowser; a screenshot of the browser is shown in the figure below.

MeqTrees was originally developed for the purpose of LOFAR calibration. The montage below shows an example of calibration of a LOFAR test station observation using shapelets to quantify the image structure of Cass A.

Note to page authors: I suggest we use the front page only for the most general stuff, and for documents pertaining to ongoing discussions. Most new pages belong in the DocumentationProject, so please add a permanent link there, and a small item to News & Announcements below.

About Wikis

You can edit any page by pressing the link at the bottom of the page. Capitalized words joined together form a WikiName, which hyperlinks to another page. The highlighted title searches for all pages that link to the current page. Pages which do not yet exist are linked with a question mark: just follow the link and you can add a definition.

To get an overview over this site and what it contains, see the SiteNavigation page.
