MeqTrees Reference Papers

A large reference paper decribing the philosophy, design, features and implementation of MeqTrees has been published by Astronomy & Astrophysics (A&A 2010, 524, A61). You may download a PDF version here (aa15013-10.pdf), or see an HTML version here.

An older "samizdat" version of this paper has been making the rounds. This contains a number of sections (in particular, sections 9 and 10) of a somewhat speculative nature, which did not survive into the final version, but which nonetheless may prove useful to somebody trying to understand more of the philosophy behind MeqTrees and our thinking on third-generation calibration. The "samizdat" version is therefore offered here: meqtrees_samizdat_paper.pdf.
