:: Project organization

A British/French/Dutch/German/Belgian/Spanish/Swisse/Danish consortium (with Swedish and Irish participation), under supervision of ESA and NASA, is responsible for MIRI as an integrated instrumental system.

The Dutch part of the consortium is led by astronomers from the universities of Leiden and Amsterdam, under the auspices of the Netherlands Research School of Astronomy (NOVA), in collaboration with ASTRON, TNO/TPD and SRON.

Funding is provided by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO), NOVA and the universities.
