General Information

General
The workshop will begin on Monday morning and finish after lunchtime on Friday. The meeting will consist of presentation sessions and and an excursion to the first LOFAR Station and the Westerbork telescope (WSRT).
There will be no formal proceedings volume, but we plan to make the presentations available on the meeting website.

 

The workshop will be hosted at the ASTRON offices in Dwingeloo, with accommodation at a nearby hotel.

 

Accomodation
A block reservation has been made at the Valk hotel at Spier at about 5 km from the ASTRON building. The rate for these 20 rooms is 80,50 EUR including breakfast. The Valk hotel can be reached from Schiphol by train to Hoogeveen or Beilen and by a short taxi ride. Find more information on the 'How to get there' link above.

During the meeting days transportation will be organized between the Hotel Spier-Dwingeloo and ASTRON
