The Hotel Spier-Dwingeloo is located along the A28 highway on the west side between Hoogeveen and Beilen at the Dwingeloo exit. Go towards Dwingeloo and just after the exit you find the entrance to the hotel. The hotel telephone number is +31 (0)593 564 800

Visit www.ns.nl for the best information regarding any train departure times. This site is multi-lingualFrom Schiphol Airport the trains leaving at hh:21 for Groningen will take you to Hoogeveen without any transfer -- also in the evening. The hh:51 trains to Groningen will make two transfers -- but these will stop connecting later in the evening. For additional door-to-door information, look at www.ov9292.nl

The transfer from Hoogeveen (or Beilen) train station to the Hotel Spier-Dwingeloo or to ASTRON can be done by taxi. At any time you can yourself call Ellerie Taxi at +31 (0)528 351 218 with information about your train arrival in Hoogeveen (or Beilen). During daytime hours the ASTRON Receptionists at +31 (0)521 595 100 can arrange a taxi when you give call in your arrival time information. The taxi ride to ASTRON is about 24 EUR and getting to the Hotel Spier-Dwingeloo is less.

During the meeting days there will be transportation between the Hotel Spier-Dwingeloo and teh ASTRON Building.
