The FIRST survey has been expanded to cover the SDSS3 sky coverage. The observations will bridge the classic VLA and EVLA. We will discuss the possibilities presented by the EVLA for continuum surveys. We will also discuss new science being done with the FIRST survey on galaxy evolution.
