Far-field antenna measurements for small antenna systems can be carried out in the ASTRON far-field antenna test range. This indoor anechoic facility, using Emerson& Cuming absorbers has a fully controlled antenna positioner enabling antennas under test to move in azimuth and elevation. A range of reference antennas are available to cover a frequency range of 1 GHz to 15 GHz. Due to the size of this facility, only low gain antennas can be analyzed.
