What I Do:

I am the General Director of ASTRON, the Netherlands Foundation for Research in Astronomy.
I conduct research in Radio Astronomy. I am Professor of radio techniques in astronomy at Leiden University and also adjunct Professor at the Centre for Astrophysics and Supercomputing, University of Swinburne, Australia.
