ASTRONOMICAL MOLECULES 2004 - MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION INSTRUCTION

General Guidelines

All the presentations in the Workshop will be published in the Proceedings as a special issue of Astrophysics and Space Science (ApSS) by Kluwer Academic Publishers. Manuscripts will be reviewed by the organizing members and invited speakers. Authors should carefully read the following instructions and send the manuscript files (a text file in latex or MS Word form and figure files (eps or Postscript) to Dwingeloo via anonymous ftp.

Author Instructions

Manuscripts must be written with Latex or MS Word forms.
Authors wishing to write with Latex must use template files.

Page limits are 8-10 pages for invited reviews, and 5-6 pages for regular talks.
Authors are allowed to extend their manuscripts up to, preferably, 1 or 2 pages extra.

In principle, color figures and graphs are not allowed.
If authors really need to produce color figures/graphs/photographs, please contact Y.Hagiwara (YH).

For figures, the publisher prefer tiff or eps formats.

Please make sure that for all figures the best possible originals are included (highest resolution, more than 300 dpi, preferable 600 dpi). Authors should try to include figures into the manuscript. This is the best guarantee that the figures will be published in the right size and right orientation.

When figures in manuscripts are already published (incl. painting reproductions), permission for reprinting from the original publishers must be obtained.
Kluwer Academic Publishers can provide a form (MS Word form) for asking for permission upon request. Please contact YH.

Each lead author should fill out a Consent to Publish and a Manuscript Transmittal form , that constitute of 3 pages. The 2nd page is only for US employees but the 1st and 3rd pages must be filled by all authors. Please send these forms to YH at Dwingeloo by FAX (+31-(0)521-597332) or post. Postal address is here .

Manuscripts must be submitted by 16 April 2004.

Please note that 18 June 2004 is the HARD DEADLINE (4/6/2004).
