Venue, accommodation and logistics

The workshop will take part at the conference centre Mooirivier in Dalfsen (see http://www.mooirivier.nl ) an attractive location that offers on-site lodging, and is situated in a green environment conducive to both outdoor and indoor activities.

Hotel reservation
Please reserve you hotel room at the conference centre Mooirivier as soon as possible. The block reservation has expired, and reservations are now on the basis of availability.

Room rates per person per night for single use are Eur 75, double use Eur 37,50, and breakfast is Eur 15 per day.

While making the hotel room reservation, please refer to the code NDF-9566 (ASTRON) to get the special price. You can reserve a hotel room in one of two ways:

The hotel website may show otherwise, but rooms are still available for LOFAR workshop participants, although optionally. So please do not use their website but send an email to the hotel mentioning explicitly ASTRON and the code above (NDF-9566) !

By car:
Situated at road number N340 between Ommen and Dalfsen, there are signs to Mooirivier Congreshotel.

By public transportation
Dalfsen is in the east of the Netherlands and can be reached in about a half-hour by either private car, train, or bus from Zwolle, the nearest bigger city on the main highway and railway line. Zwolle is 90 minutes from Schiphol airport by train. You have to switch trains in Zwolle to get to Dalfsen; there is a good connection twice per hour.
From Dalfsen railway station there is a bus connection to Mooirivier hotel. See http://www.9292.nl  to plan your trip using public transport (also in English). Use ‘Oude Oever 10’ for the street address of Mooirivier in Dalfsen.

Limited free transportation to Mooirivier
Two shuttle buses for 8 persons each will pick up workshop participants for free in connection with the following trains at Dalfsen railway station. This is on a first come, first served basis. To reach Dalfsen railway station, see the section about public transport.
The schedule of the free transportation is as follows, also considering the welcoming drinks at Mooirivier from 18:30-19:30:
13 September Dalfsen railway station to Mooirivier (15 minutes):
