| Description: | Thursday June 15th ASTRON, LOFAR and Drenthe College signed a declaration of intent to investigate the possibility of starting a so-called "leerbedrijf". Such a learning company would offer services to LOFAR during roll-out and operations. Students of the Drenthe college would be the employees of the learning company, performing all functions. This way of training students on the job is a very innovative educational tool, that is being pioneered here in Drenthe. |
