Organization

NLAP organization

1. The NLAP is a self-organizing and self-supporting group of scientists and engineers seeking to stimulate and coordinate activities relating to research at low radio frequencies.

2. As an organization NLAP seeks the sponsoring of organizations and observatories with an interest in low frequency science.

3. NLAP started as an activity in The Netherlands but members of foreign institutes are invited to be a member of NLAP and to participate in NLAP activities.

4. Active sponsorship of NLAP is open to both national and foreign institutes.

5. When the foreign sponsors outnumber the number of Netherlands sponsors, the name will be changed to European Low-Frequency Radio Astronomy platform (ELAP).
