cluster glaxies CL0024+1654

Description: Optic image of the central part of the cluster CL0024+1654(z=0.39) from CFHT telescope. Overlaid radio contour map from VLA observations with A and B array.
The radio emission from the centre of the cluster looks like a jet of AGN. In the optic image it is possible see background galaxies (z=1.67) multiply imaged by the cluster.
