| Description: | Because of its good wide-band response, the Vivaldi antenna is attractive as a basic element for the Square Km Array (SKA). In this ingeneous low-cost, yet sturdy design, the antenna is the thin sheet of copper, held in place by a block of foam plastic. The latter can be easily and reliably assembled into arrays. |
