| Description: | Winter scenery on Mauna Kea, featuring the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory (CSO). This telescope, together with the SMA and the JCMT, is a partner in the 'eSMA' linked interferometry project. Currently, work is underway to prepare for first time 345GHz interferometry with these telescopes. For that purpose, a receiver at the JCMT was retrofitted with 'B' band, dual polarization capability. Commissioning of that new part of the receiver is expected in the upcoming days and nights.
