EMBRACE Centre Board

| Description: | This is a prototype of the new designed centre board of an EMBRACE tile. A 1 m^2 embrace tile consists of six antenna boards (Hexboards) and a centre board. The centre board is located in the middle of an embrace tile and takes care of all the control and the combining of the RF signals. The control is done through an ethernet connection. The onboard FPGA translates the ethernet packets to the local communication protocols. After combining all the signals, 2 seperate beams are available for further processing. Temperature and voltages on board of the tile are monitored as well. |
