A Summer in Drenthe

| Description: | As every year, the Dutch summer has brought along new and young faces at ASTRON and JIVE. Six summer students from Russia, Mexico, China, Spain, Iran and England have spent three months working side by side with ASTRON and JIVE researchers. During this period, they have had a chance to learn more about radio astronomy thanks to their involvement in active research projects, and the lectures held for them. Barbecues, baseball, bridge, pancakes and trips to the "outer world" have made us all enjoy the (little!) time left free after the hard work. Now the summer is gone and so are the students. Let's take this chance to thank all of them for the job done and for cheering up our summer months!
