Today's colloquium: Radio telescopes rooted in Miyun observatory: past, present and future (B. Peng)

Description: In today's colloquium Bo Peng will review the radio telescopes at the Miyun radio astronomical station of the National Astronomical observatories of China: the Miyun Synthesis Radio Telescope as the past, the 50-m dish as the present and the Miyun-FAST as the future. Especially the current status on FAST (Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope) will be discussed.
