| Description: | ASTRON is now using twitter - this permits us to communicate more frequently and indeed more rapidly with our own staff and with the outside world. Information will be posted on the twitter feed on a near daily basis, and will hopefully supplement (but not replace) the other electronic media we now use e.g. the ASTRON-JIVE Daily image, staff announcements from "Mrs Reception" and Press-Releases. We expect LOFAR to dominate the news over the coming year - this is the place to find breaking news on the project.
The twitter feed is available via our main web pages and http://www.twitter.com/ASTRON_LOFAR . You can also sign-up as a fellow twitterer and/or follower of ASTRON by opening a twitter account of your own. The ASTRON_LOFAR feed has been up for only 1 week but already enjoys more than 100 "followers".
