World Famous in Dwingeloo

Submitter: Tom Oosterloo
Description: The fact that you read this text means that you are having a look the Astron/Jive Daily Image (AJDI). It turns out that in fact many people do this. Since the new Astron webpages came on-line (Apr 23), we track the use of the ADJI. On an average working day, about 150 distinct individuals look at the AJDI. The image shows the geographical distribution of AJDI visitors since the new Astron webpages were installed: people from over 50 different countries have looked at AJDI in the last 3 months, responsible for more than 60,000 pageviews. Many of the AJDI audience are regular customers, i.e. people who visit the AJDI several times a week to follow what we do.

Interestingly, many colleagues from other astronomical institutes, in particular our "radio colleagues" in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia, keep a good eye on the AJDI. So if you want to show some interesting result to your friends, the AJDI is the place to put it!!!!
