| Description: | Many of you may have forgotten in the mean time, but it is still the International year of Astronomy (IYA2009). We had a burst of activity in the spring with webcasts and the big event at Nemo, but since then we have not done very much. Not so for people in other parts of the world. Part of the IYA2009 is a large collection of exhibition material, called From Earth to the Universe, which is displayed in more than 100 places all over the world. The pictures show the exhibition as it is currently on display in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. I guess you recognise the galaxy. |
