Välkommen till Rödjorna

| Description: | Only those who arrived at Astron fairly recently will not remember Aziz Abdoulah. He took care of the Astron canteen until a few years ago, until he decided to move to Sweden to start a new life in an even more tranquil environment than the forests of Dwingeloo and the Dwingelderveld. He, and his partner Annemiek, started the Center for Nature and Awareness http://www.retraite-zweden.com ) where you can 'feel the infinity of nature and receive inner peace and awareness...'. Several Astron staff have visited Aziz since he left (see http://www.astron.nl/dailyimage/main.php?date=20081010 ), and recently we did as well. Rödjorna is in the middle of the woods and lakes, an old farm where the sheep and horses (including 26 year old Beck) roam freely. It is a nice place to wind down while enjoying the good company of Aziz & Annemiek. Rödjorna is right next to the Tived national park where you can make great hikes and swim in the lakes (the water is not even cold...). The gem of Rödjorna is, however, the meditation room built by Aziz and friends. This is a beautiful room where, if you are in to it, really can discover your inner self. Aziz was right: in comparison Dwingeloo is a boring place.... As you can see, Aziz is in good shape, and still flying the colours of The Good Cause. Aziz sends his warmest 'groeten' to everybody |
