| Description: | Since it will be another interminable week until we (and the World) will be inspired by the New Year's speeches of our Directors, the editors of your very own ASTRON/JIVE Daily Image humbly presume to fill the void. We wish you all a mildly satisfying 2011, on or off the beaten track. (Think about it: Could any reasonable person wish for more?) We also take this opportunity to urge all ASTRON and JIVE personnel to make the following New Year's resolution: To celebrate the privilege of working for an institute that speaks with such authority, by submitting regular images about your splendid work (and other activities) that makes it all possible. Remember: "L'Institut, c'est toi". NB: Even if you are not moved by such lofty sentiments, you might consider that submission definitely helps your career by attracting the attention of Top Management. After all, they take an active interest in this medium of self-promotion. |
