| Description: | On June 15, an overcast but warm summer's day, 32 cyclists from ASTRON got together for a few hours of all-terrain biking on the Dwingeloo MTB-track through the National Park forest, and over the heath. Experience ranged from beginners who started with basic instruction, to experts who completed the full loop at high speed. Ages ranged over more than half a century, with some venerable greybeards frantically competing right at the front.
At the end there were some sore hands and behinds, and lots of smiles. Next year, we will try to have some beer waiting at the finish. |
