| Description: | This visualization shows U. Camb. SKALA log-periodic dipole antennas deployed at the Murchison Radioastronomy Observatory in Western Australia, the site of the low-frequency SKA. The view is through the central core "sea of elements" where 75% of the collecting area will be located. The computer-generated image is remarkably similar to some views of the small, recently-deployed AAVS 0.5 array, a joint project between ICRAR, U. Camb. and ASTRON. |
