| Description: | The SKA Board met in South Africa last month but with the help of some chartered flights they were also able to fit in a visit to the SKA site in the Karoo desert and then a school in Carnarvon. The images show the impressive progress being made on all fronts: telescopes and schools included. This was also the last meeting of Jan van der Donk (Ministry OCW) before his well-deserved retirement.
At ASTRON, lunchtime today, Michiel van Haarlem will review the actions arising from the Board meeting and the various other issues that were discussed. |
