We also commemorate this with the Westerbork telescope. Every year on May 4 we put our telescope dishes in a mourning position. In this video, made in collaboration with Herinneringscentrum Kamp Westerbork, you can see the dishes being put into that position by our operator Jurjen Sluman (who was operating the telescope from home due to the national coronavirus restrictions).
