The first Clock-board prototype for LOFAR2

| Description: | The first prototype Clock-board has been assembled in Dwingeloo, these prototype boards are made for test and verification purposes. Assembly was done on our Pick&Place machine in Dwingeloo, 229 components were placed, and preparation time is getting shorter each time due to gained experience with previous boards. This board will be tested and after the go-ahead is given, some more boards will be assembled. Preparation for the prototype Control-board is now in progress. When these boards are finished they will be tested in combination with the other boards and the LMP (LOFAR Mid Plane) board. More prototype boards for LOFAR2 will be assembled in the coming weeks. |
