Second place in Rotary Pub Quiz

| Description: | On 30 March, a delegation of ASTRON represented the institute at a pub quiz organized by Rotary Beilen. Eleven companies from the neighborhood of Beilen competed for the title "Smartest company of Midden-Drenthe". The proceeds of the pub quiz went to charity. The ASTRON team got a good start, and even survived the sports round, but ultimately lost the first place to Autobedrijf Strijker at the very last question, where we failed to recognize the flag of the muncipality of Hardenberg. The prize for the second place, consisting of six soccer tickets donated by FC Groningen, will be distributed under ASTRON employees (contact TJD if you're interested). |
