Making the workplace a vibrant space

| Description: | Everybody knows or has heard or seen pictures of the famous “Google” office space with keyboard vending machines, free lunch, colourful and inviting interior with vibrant atmosphere. Even if these were only pictures, they made you think “it would be cool if…”. Seeing that ASTRON has a broad scope of diverse occupations which have their own ‘field specific’ cultures and needs (which do not necessarily overlap) we have created a Vibrant Office Workgroup to take up the challenge of turning ASTRON into the “Wanna be vibrant” office for all of you. Our goal is to turn ASTRON into a safe space that you go to with pleasure, which makes you smile and gives you positive vibes; a space with hubs to go where you can unleash the rains of your creativity, brainstorm, innovate, share knowledge, network on-site in-real and hybrid with your immediate colleagues and global collaborators. A space that makes YOU thrive because when YOU thrive, ASTRON thrives as well. It is a process, and we need your input. From employees for employees. The first meeting took place last Tuesday and first steps have already been made. You may start noticing changes, and there is more to come. Amongst other things, we will also be talking about the 40/60 percent presence policy. The first spot that is undergoing metamorphosis at ASTRON is located in the analogue lab area. You can be a part of it. What would make you feel the ‘wanna be here’ vibe? Share your ideas with one of our team members and we will look what can be done. Let the vibe be with you!
