XCEPTION making waves at the WSRT

| Description: | The cosmic duo Ruby Prophet and Bram Boender together form XCEPTION, a name you’ve probably heard before from hardstyle stages and festivals like Decible Outdoor, Defqon 1, Mysteryland, Reverze and The Qontinent. Taking the scene by storm with their electrifying hit tracks and collaborations with top artists like Paul Elstak, Ran-D and Da Tweekaz, gathering millions of streams unleashing their full cosmic power upon the world. XCEPTION’s performances and music have a space theme, this is carried through in costumes, music clips and their lyrics.. “A billion light-years away, deep in a corner of the universe … Lived a yet unknown, technologically advanced humanoid species.” So when they asked if they could shoot their next videoclip at the WSRT, of course we did everything we could to search for a free slot in the Westerbork observation schedule. Which was not easy with the busy schedule we have during the VLBI, and our daily Precise observations looking for FRB’s. Telescope Operations gave them a nice look behind the scenes of Astron. What we do, how we do it, and the amazing systems we use on a daily basis at the Westerbork site. The array has a great astronomical vibe and the perfect visuals for this theme to make a music video. I would say to keep your eyes peeled for the next upcoming music video from Xception!
