Description: | This year at ASTRON, we are thrilled to welcome summer students from diverse corners of the globe. As part of a cherished tradition, the students place pins with their names on a world map displayed in the visitors' office, symbolizing their journey. Throughout the summer, these talented individuals have been engaged in a variety of exciting research projects, exploring topics that range from receiver calibration and observing with the Dwingeloo telescope to the Sun, pulsar timing, exoplanets and VLBI. Their hard work culminates in presentations during our Astrolunch series, where they will share their findings and insights throughout August. We encourage everyone to attend these engaging talks and support our summer students as they showcase their innovative research and discoveries. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from the next generation of astronomers! |
