| Description: | Shining a Light on our Co-Workers At this year’s New Year’s reception, we honored the amazing achievements of the past year. Several co-workers were recognized for their outstanding contributions with special awards: the Unsung Heroes Award, the Outreach Award, the Daily Image Award, and the Collaborator Catalyst Award. These awards reflect not only their hard work but also their dedication to making a meaningful difference within our organization. The Unsung Heroes Award went to Brendan Tran, a key member of the IT department, and a true hero within the organization. Brendan is celebrated not only for his technical expertise but also for his solutions-driven attitude. His dedication and constant support make him an indispensable part of the organization. The Outreach Award was awarded to four co-workers: Tammo Jan Dijkema, Ellemijn Bos-Oosterhuis, Michiel Brentjes, and Scott Polotto. They were honored for their initiative in inviting the biggest Dutch YouTube influencer to visit our organization, and help introduce young people to the fascinating world of science and technology. The Daily Image Award went to Paul Boven for his stunning image and timelapse video "Shooting Stars and Northern Lights". This particular shot stood out for its ability to freeze a magical moment in time, showcasing the beauty of nature through his lens. The Collaborator Catalyst Award was awarded to the entire ICD team, consisting of Albert-Jan Boonstra, Alma Kerkhof, Andre Gunst, Boudewijn Hut, Johan Pragt, Lonneke Kerkhoff, and Roelien Attema. The team was recognized for their exceptional collaboration under the motto "Where high tech innovation connects." |
