| Description: | For the first LOFAR core station CS-1 four outdoor cabinets are manufacturered by Casbar Madrid. The size of the new cabinet is 3,2m by 1,5m by 2,0m (w,d,h). The EMC shielding effectiveness of the first prototype cabinet was not sufficient. The EMC shielding and heat management system was greatly improved by Astron personel. The four cabinets will arive mid july in Exloo. |
