The second LOFAR mini station comes to life

| Description: | On Sept 26th the LOFAR mini-station CS-8 (the second of the 4 mini-stations that are currently being built) came to life. This is an important step in the roll-out phase, because from now on data from 2 different LOFAR stations can be combined in Groningen. To enable this process, each LOFAR station contains an accurate GPS-based rubidium clock. |
