Description: | This image of M81 and the very active galaxy M82(on the left) was made in downtown Beilen in the early morning of November 18th. Exposure time was 15 minutes at 1600 ISO with a (H-alpha modified) Canon 350D Digital SLR camera and a 20cm F/2.8 telescope. Sub arc-second guiding was done automatically with an ST4 autoguider-camera on a seperate guidescope. It is possible to reach at least magnitude 20 in this way. |
