recycling and shielding

| Description: | Cynical observers have observed cynically that the main purpose of an MBA is to shield the management from the workforce. Not so in the LOFAR organisation, where MBA's are gainfully employed in actual work. The picture shows one of them in the process of recycling the antennas of the good old Initial Test Station (ITS) into a picket fence to protect the new LOFAR stations against marauding natives. So, still shielding, but in a far more worthy cause. |
