| Description: | The hot-cold test facility received its hat! The 'carport' on wheels is filled with microwave obsorbing material, providing a hot noise source for the testarray inside. And when rolled away, the cold sky will be seen by the array. The ratio between the two measured noise powers gives us the noise temperature of the test array. (See also Daily image 26 August) |
