| Description: | When the electronic components are mounted on the printed circuit board, the Low Band Antenna - Low Noise Amplifier (LBA-LNA) will be functionally tested. In this picture you see the test setup at the electronics firm Neways Leeuwarden in the Netherlands. This test setup is designed by ASTRON.
The LNA is placed on this “fixture” so several probes underneath the PCB make contact with the electronic circuits. With measurement equipment such as a network analyzer and a data acquisition unit the LNA will be measured fully automatic on 33 parameters. This automatic test will decide if the LNA works well according to the design specifications or not, based on a pass – fail criteria. |
