3500 EMBRACE elements in position!

| Description: | Presented here is an update of the progress of the dense array SKA(DS) demonstrator project EMBRACE. Approximately 3500 elements are mounted and tested on the 150 m2 site located between RT4 en RT5 of the WSRT. The first row of elements show the Rogers pcb with feedline and stub. The shadows on the wall of the polystyrene dome are from two hard-working ladies from an external company, placing antennas and profiles. Without these people, it would take a lot longer to complete the total array. |
