| Description: | A few months ago more than 40 international ambassadors (plus their spouses!) visited ASTRON and JIVE. They were accompanied by newly installed, Commissaris van de Koningin, Jacques Tichelaar, and the mayor of Westerveld, T. Slagman-Bootsma.
The visitors listened to a presentation on ASTRON and JIVE's main activities, and then had a quick tour of our facilties in Dwingeloo. They asked many good questions and left with a good impression of what Drenthe has to offer in terms of technology development and the advancement of fundamental research. |
