| Description: | Pierre Bourget, an instrument engineer from ESO-Paranal in Chile, came to Dwingeloo for 2 weeks, to work with the NOVA-ASTRON team on SPHERE-ZIMPOL (see the daily image of 27-10-09).
In addition to his optical work, Pierre also undertook to test the acoustic qualities of our anechoic chamber. The result: It is very good. There is hardly any discernible echo. In view of ASTRON's position as "Higtech Hub on the Hei", it is useful to know about this multi-functionality of our equipment.
