| Description: | The traditional New Year speeches took place last week. The directors of JIVE and ASTRON looked back at the many achievements of 2009, plus the challenges and opportunities that 2010 will bring. It seemed for one moment that another snowball fight was about to take place (see also 24 December AJDI), as one of our fearless leaders deployed troops to exact revenge on his assailant and a certain raconteur.
