| Description: | From January 4-6th, 2010, the ASTRON Astronomy Group hosted four undergraduate physics/astronomy students from the Universiteit van Amsterdam: Margot Brouwer, Karel Hoitinga, Susanne Groothuis, and Samyra Straal. As part of an annual research practicum, these students got an introduction to how professional astronomical research is conducted. In particular, the students observed two bright pulsars with LOFAR to learn how such data is collected and analyzed. They're now on their way to becoming future astronomers and LOFAR users.
