| On Tuesday, the ASTRON booth at the 2011 Seattle AAS meeting not only showcased the LOFAR scale model, it even featured live LOFAR observing. Check out the footage at youtube.
The AAS meeting is the largest annual astronomy meeting in the world, with about 3000 participants. This week, many of those have checked out or stopped by the ASTRON booth. We provide information on the R&D and astronomy at ASTRON and on the current status of LOFAR, APERTIF and SKA related work. The LOFAR scale model and the information on our summer student program especially draw a lot of interest.
